Experience Matters.
Thank you for your unwavering support, your heartfelt letters, your friendship, encouragement, and generosity. Together, again, is not just a hope to return to City Hall—it is a promise to honor the heart of our community, to listen, and to lead with compassion and experience.
Does experience matter? I believe it does. My years as a City Council Member from 2012 to 2020 were not just about holding a title—they were about proving to the Anna community that strategy, wisdom, loyalty, and experience are the cornerstones of meaningful leadership. When it comes to your family, your career, your safety, and the future of our community, experience is not just important—it is essential.
Trust is earned, not given. I encourage you to ask the hard questions of every candidate:
Where have they worked? For how long? What have they achieved? Over the years, I’ve dedicated 11 years at Huffines, 4 years at Ford, and 17 years at O’Reilly’s, serving the Anna community with expert advice, genuine care, and a team I trust. These years have taught me the value of hard work, integrity, and the importance of building relationships that last.
Ask candidates how they plan to fund their visions for Anna’s future. The library, for example, was not built overnight. It took a decade of careful planning, a sophisticated funding strategy, and relentless dedication. It was one of three major projects I had the privilege to lead, each designed to enhance the lives of Anna’s residents.
Ask candidates what “Your Hometown” truly means to them. For me, it’s deeply personal. When my high-school sweetheart, wife, and best friend of 32 years was diagnosed with cancer in 2022, we faced the most challenging time of our lives. But in that darkness, the Anna community shone brightly. Your prayers, donations, and unwavering support carried us through. “Your Hometown” is not just a place—it’s a bond, a shared commitment to stand by one another in times of need. Without experiencing that, how can anyone truly protect it?
Ask candidates where they’re from and how long they’ve called Anna home. My family and I were here when Anna was a small town of 8,000 people—a place where neighbors knew each other by name, doors were left unlocked, and trust was a way of life. How can someone preserve Anna’s history if they weren’t here to witness it being written?
I’m not here to compete with others running for Seat 2 on May 3rd. Instead, I ask you to reflect on one question: “Does experience matter?” If your answer is “Yes,” I would be deeply honored to earn your vote. Please reach out with any questions you have—I am here to listen, to answer, and to serve.
Above all, my experience has taught me that the true strength of Anna lies in its people—their kindness, generosity, and resilience. During the most terrifying chapter of my life, you stood by my family unwavering, committed every day until we heard those life-alteringg words, "Cancer-Free." To thank you in the most meaningful way I know, I seek the privilege of serving on the City Council once again. Together, we can protect our veterans, seniors, and youth, invest in our shared future, and uphold the values, integrity, and environment that make Anna “Your Hometown.”
It would be my greatest honor to continue this journey with you, at last, together again.
. Thank you for voting on May 3, 2025, at City Hall for Nathan Bryan Place 2. #TogetherAgain.
